- How the planning service works
-
Embrionic use a tailored approach for each organisation to ensure the right engagement with both IT and business stakeholders. We understand that all organisations are different and will need a unique approach. We will bring our experience and blend it with your ways of working to create a collaborative working practice.
To create the Digital Strategy we will use a mix of workshops, brain storming exercises, market analysis, maturity assessments and stakeholder interviews to capture the inputs required to drive the strategy. The strategy will be developed iteratively with stakeholders, ensuring that there are no big surprises and that the strategy can influence decisions at the earliest opportunity. The strategy will highlight where there are opportunities to re-use or re-purpose in order to create sustainable and affordable services.
When the strategy is mature enough we can develop a gap analysis showing the areas in which the organisation needs to bring additional investment to realise the vision, and where potential efficiencies can be gained from eliminating wastage. - Planning service works with specific services

We have signed the UK Business Climate Hub SME Climate Commitment and will publish a yearly progress report. Embrionic work with our suppliers and clients to identify ways to reduce our environmental impact. We promote remote delivery and reduced business travel where possible and our employees are encouraged to use public transport wherever possible.Tackling economic inequality
Embrionic are aware of the responsibility it has to employees, clients and society in tackling economic inequality. To do this Embrionic have made the following commitments:
• To ensure all employees are paid the real living wage as defined by the Living Wage Foundation
• To ensure that all employees having training and improvement plans to support their career aspirations
• Support entrepreneurship through maintaining a diverse supply chain, favouring smaller innovative businesses where reasonable
• Put in place collaborative working agreements with suppliers to foster innovation within the supply chain and deliver increased capability and scalability for clients
Embrionic recognise the importance of a digital enabled workforce and we encourage our employees to work with schools and colleges to offer mentorship and help in digital and STEM subjects.Equal opportunity
Embrionic are committed to treating all employees and job applicants equally and fairly. As an equal opportunities employer we promote workplace policies which enable employees to succeed based on their experience and ability. We make reasonable adjustments where needed to allow for disabilities.
We will monitor for and protect against discrimination of any group or individual, whether that is employee, applicant, supplier or client. Embrionic provides a confidential feedback channel for individuals to raise concerns about behaviours or policies which might promote discrimination.
Embrionic are committed to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and take steps to manage the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain through ensuring suppliers are compliant with the Modern Slavery Act reporting requirements.Wellbeing
At Embrionic we understand the importance our employees have on our success and that requires a commitment from us to their health and wellbeing which we take very seriously. In addition to Private Medical Insurance for all employees and their families we have a fully flexible and remote working policy which helps balance work life and home life.
We believe in a culture of wellbeing with mental health being at the centre. Embrionic are a signatory of the 'UK-wide Mental Health at Work Commitment' and as part of the commitment we promote our employees to use up to 3 days a year however they want, whether that be community volunteering, self-improvement activities, dealing with stressful moments outside of work or just duvet days to recover their mental wellbeing.
At Embrionic we know our people are our best asset and we promote a culture where they can provide suggestions on how to improve the workplace. We take each of the suggestions seriously and provide transparent feedback on why they are taken forward or not.
Embrionic work collaboratively with our clients and suppliers to ensure that all engagements are undertaken in a way which promotes health and wellbeing of the workforce. We will guard against unrealistic expectations that can drive unreasonable levels of pressure and stress and will look at opportunities to frequently reward success.
