There are a number of methods for migrating content to Box, ranging from customer-driven methods relying on FTP, API or third-party migration tools. At times the amount of content or the complexity of the migration exceeds what can be reasonably handled without migration expertise.
Box Content Migration Services (Box Shuttle) is designed to take that load off the Customer and let them get back to business.
With Box Shuttle, the Customer does not need to spend time or effort procuring a third-party migration tool or managing an on-going self-served migration.
Once the current user and/or permissions are mapped to a waterfall compliant structure, Box quickly migrates Customer content from the data source directly to Box on the Customer’s behalf. For Platinum clients, your Technical Account Manager stays with you to monitor the health of your Box deployment.
