GDAK do this by: Conducting an understand phase to baseline the organisation's current maturity and effectiveness for preventing and responding to incidents and crisis. Utilise specialist consultancy, training and exercising to identify, educate, test and validate throughout the schedule. As part of the recovery from COVID-19, GDAK have increased the flexibility and adapted ways of working for the delivery of this service. This service can be delivered remotely with the use of collaborative tools and processes to ensure full value and benefit to the buyer is still realised. GDAK can also deliver this service utilising a hybrid of physical and remote working.

To enable GDAK to support its workforce to deliver hybrid working, the workplace conditions within GDAK have also been improved to support social distancing if physical attendance at our sites is required by our staff or clients. The workforce have tools, equipment and process to support effective remote working to deliver on this service.

In line with GDAK's travel policy, where travel for this service is required sustainable travel solutions will be selected, always maintaining care of its workforce within COVID-19. As part of the workforce that will deliver on this service, GDAK has incentives to make more sustainable travel decisions for commuting such as cycle to work and electric car schemes.

GDAK support and promote in-work progression of all staff members. GDAK fund and encourage attaining certifications and qualifications relevant to the delivery of this service, this training is open to all of GDAK's workforce to develop new skills that attract higher pay and promotion within the company.

GDAK are also working towards introducing work experience and apprenticeship opportunities and to support grassroots growth of skills where appropriate.
