Code First Girls tackles economic inequality by giving women opportunities to learn coding skills and be deployed into tech roles. Code First Girls has taught 200,000 women how to code for free to date.

Code First Girls has a very diverse community, 19% identify as neurodiverse, 57% are from underrepresented ethnicities, 55% are the first generation to attend university and 27% were eligible for free school meals. 49% are career switchers.
