We use Kubernetes for our session infrastructure. We have established metrics for scaling the number of sessions per node based on standard hardware and session type. We primarily monitor metrics for number of active sessions, average sessions/tenant and time to initiate/start a new session. We use these metrics for capacity planning and autoscaling.
