Planning
- Planning service
- Yes
- How the planning service works
- Cybernetica follow a full end-to-end solution lifecycle methodology to support organisations' long-term visions and strategies. Solutions are delivered to client-agreed functional, non-functional and security requirements, and traced through the solution development life until completion. Based on the agreed requirements a number of options are available including technical production selection, proof-of-concepts, proof-of-value or pathfinder projects. Discovery activities commence with the initial determination of key stakeholders for the project, including Chief Technology Officers, Tower Lead Solution Architects, Information Assurance and Security Architects, Procurement and Operational leads. Technical discovery activities are conducted to inform subsequent solution architecture and design tasks. High and Low Level Design artefacts, which include detailed Bills-of-materials and test plans, are the output from the Planning and Design phases which are subject to review and approval through the end clients' existing design governance procedures. Where IT Health Checks (ITHC) are required, services offered include initial scoping, supplier selection, testing enablement, assessment and recommendations of report findings and remediation activities.

Setup and migration
- Setup or migration service available
- Yes
- How the setup or migration service works
- Following the Cybernetica solution lifecycle methodology and working in conjunction with a client's key stakeholders identified during the Define phase, the Implement phase realises the approved design artefacts created during the preceding Design phase. The delivery approach can be split in to defined tiers of deployment to enable the successful transition of new services without impacting existing production services. Migration activities are carefully planned to balance progression versus risk and follow deployment rings. Starting initially with small numbers for migration and ramping up accordingly based on each deployment ring's success provides a controlled but progressive migration approach. Set up and migration activities can encompass: Proof of Concept, Development, Test, UAT and Production environments.

Quality assurance and performance testing
- Quality assurance and performance testing service
- Yes
- How the quality assurance and performance testing works
- Quality Assurance of Cybernetica Design artefacts are subject to internal peer review processes before being released to the client for review. New or migrated services are transitioned to a client's operational function in a smooth manner as key stakeholders are identified during the discovery phase and consulted and informed throughout all subsequent phases prior to the operational take on of services. Documentation is provided and Knowledge Transfers and vendor training are provided to ensure operational staff can effectively take ownership and manage the solution from service go live. Where required, a client's existing operational resources can be augmented with Cybernetica specialists to support live services for a predefined period and ramping down as necessary as operational teams become more comfortable with day-to-day management of new technologies. Examples of supporting documentation include High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, Architecture Diagrams, Application Flow Diagrams, Knowledge Articles, Work Instructions and Service management integration for new vendors.

Fighting climate change
All of Cybernetica's work can be delivered remotely using various secure remote access and collaboration tools and, as such, travel to a regular place of work is not required which contributes towards net zero greenhouse gas emissions.Covid-19 recovery
Cybernetica do not mandate its workforce to work on site at our own or client locations. 100% of our work can be delivered remotely. Situations do arise where travel to site is required for business purposes, however this is infrequent and only if the workforce are happy to do so; all travel expenses are reimbursed.
Cybernetica are also conscious of the negative mental health aspects of isolation and working solely from home. As such regular collaborative working in shared office locations is offered for those that wish to attend.
