Service scope
- Service constraints
- The Managed Backup Powered by Commvault service is focused on AWS cloud workloads only; on-premises or other cloud platforms are excluded unless separately arranged. Advanced cyber recovery features, instant mass restore for S3, and disaster recovery orchestration are not included. Long-term archival beyond retention policy, customer-provided storage, and regular database cloning for dev/test are out of scope. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance, and support is limited to AWS environments and compatible configurations. Integration with third-party tools or custom monitoring requires separate agreements.
