We work with our clients to ensure that the projects are properly planned and then managed.
1. Hold an initial scoping meeting to fully understand the nature of the project or programme to be worked on. Understand the culture and environment as well as the objectives of the project/programme.
2. Ensure that the testing environment and tools are in place as well as the required team to undertake the testing (both internal and external).
3. Establish the level and type of reporting.
4. Meet with the 'customer' to allow us to 'test through the customers eyes'
5. Carry out a 'risk workshop' to understand the big risks (high likelihood of failure and large impact) and ensure that testing priorities these areas.
6. Take advantage of the Cloud environment features to control (and resetting of) test data sets, parallel environments to speed up testing and monitoring features to speed defect root cause analysis and check coverage.
7. Ensure planned test activity coverage goes beyond just the functional business logic: Non-functional items, support processes, etc.
8. Prepare Test data - key to finding the key defects. - Planning service works with specific services

Acutest enables organisations to successfully migrate using our Accelerated Migration Assurance(AMA) service. AMA is proven to work in different business environments and is also independent of the technology of the current infrastructure. AMA key elements:
Overall template plan/ checklists & approach for migration - ensuring key elements (testing &business needs) are aligned
Template pack/ key test documents for migration - tailored to quickly meet the testing needs.
Pack of generic test scenarios - modified with input from business and technical expert. We have found that ~70% of the scenarios are generic across different implementations.
Risk& impact method - helps determine/ present the balance between speed&certainty.
Application profiling -determines the set of tests for business applications.
Simplified incident management process- including non-testers providing an end to end view of service rather than a restricted application/ infrastructure view.
Reporting processes& outputs - ensuring timely decisions are based on clear information.
Extensions to the approach - test coexistence with complex environments.
Resource roles and skills - we work closely with our customers to use their resources wherever possible, reducing the costs of bringing in external staff.

- How the quality assurance and performance testing works
-
Waiting to see if performance problems surface in the live environment is very risky. It will cost more to fix and worse, could seriously diminish business performance and harm your reputation.
If you want to deploy applications quickly and confidently then Performance Testing is essential. Acutest's Testing & Quality Assurance services include Performance Testing. Our Performance Testing services address risks by testing under simulated, realistic user load conditions and common project constraints. The focus on this service is:
To provide confidence in the applications’ performance before deployment with objective data to support a go/no-go decision (for example end user response times).
To determine the scalability of the application and the capacity levels that the application can achieve (for example number of users that can be supported, limits of infrastructure).
To identify performance issues/bottlenecks and their causes. Where needed, provide detailed evidence that will speed up the resolution of problems.
To establish performance baseline for service measurement, provide critical information prior to launch to optimise infrastructure and support successful service operation management (for example failure behaviour beyond performance boundaries).
To monitor critical indicators so you are quickly aware of any changes to your expected levels of performance.
