Onboarding and offboarding
- Getting started
- Each new customer has direct access to a project manager who glues the process together. We collect data from the old MIS system and help the school or trust to clean and verify the information before importing it to the new system. We then help to verify that it has imported basics properly before moving forward with other imports of all other data. Our tools are some of the most developed and can import any data from an old system. During the iomprot process, in person or virtual training will be taking place, carefully planned with the school or trust to get the best out of the time. We also work with key stakeholders to manage the configuration and customisation of Ed:gen. Once the training is completed, we will run all final imports of attendance data and move to go live. This period, known as hypercare, is carefully supported by our project, support and product teams to ensure it goes well.

- Ed:gen is incredibly customisable - all modules can be renamed, terminology can be completely changed system wide to reflect school or trust standards. Modules can be shown or hidden for groups of users, and restricted in functionality with ease for different types of user. School visual customisations such as logos can be added to the system and reporting. Curriculum, behaviours, rewards, safeguarding types etc are all completely customisable, but have standards preloaded for ease. Custom data can be stored in most areas of the system and our pupil registers module further allows custom data to be stored and used system wide. User based customisations such as setting up own favourites, arranging the UI to suit are all possible for every user. Admissions can be set up to collect any data the school or trust needs to, fully branded with school logos etc and finishing in the main database with no paper intervention needed. All other apps and portals are similarly customisable to suit.
