- How the planning service works
-
The use of cloud services provides an ability to react and move at a far greater pace that is possible when using physical infrastructure and local software. However, taking advantage of these opportunities requires an organisation that thinks and operates in a cloud native way.
We help organisations adopt new ways of working through consultancy, training, and coaching, helping them prepare and plan to fully exploit the benefits of the cloud. This includes the creation of empowered delegated decision making frameworks, the introduction of innovation practices and governance, the creation of product and service organisations, the introduction of lean and agile practices and frameworks, and helping organisations move from management to leadership. - Planning service works with specific services

Fighting climate change
We have a range of ESG practices that support our commitment to being a transparently carbon-neutral, sustainable organisation, that is accountable to people and the planet.
We have a published company commitment available via the SME Climate Hub and our website to offset 100% of our carbon emissions annually, and to actively reduce these emissions year on year.
We publish an annual report on our website detailing our emissions and the steps we’ve taken to both offset these and reduce them,
We have a company ESG lead that has a seat on our board, who is responsible for sponsoring ESG initiatives, ensuring that ESG aspects are considered as part of all company activities, and for ensuring the company meets its public commitments.
We have an ethical decision-making framework for selecting partners and suppliers that prioritises companies that positively contribute back to the environment and to communities, for example by committing to carbon reduction, or by contributing to open-source standards or software.
We are in the progress of formally becoming a B Corp accredited organisation. Our aim is to complete this in 2025, and will announce via our website when this is achieved.Tackling economic inequality
We have started to publish an open-source library of knowledge and material relating to many of our company products, with the aim of enabling Public Sector organisations (worldwide) to directly adopt the thinking and practices we teach. This is available for free at yokoten.net.Equal opportunity
We are committed to equal opportunities for all staff and applicants. All employment decisions are based on merit and the legitimate business needs of the organisation. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour or nationality, ethnic or national origins, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity, disability, religion or belief, age or any other ground. Our intention is to enable all our staff to work in an environment which allows them to fulfil their potential without fear of discrimination, harassment or victimisation, extending our commitment to equal opportunities to all aspects of the working relationship.Wellbeing
We put employee and customer wellbeing at the heart of what we do.
We have a company wellbeing lead that has a seat on our board, and who is responsible for reporting on employee wellbeing, sponsoring new wellbeing initiatives, and ensuring all company activities consider employee wellbeing.
We ensure regular employee wellbeing and check-in sessions are held at every level of the organisation to identify where positive action is required to ensure employee wellbeing
Employee wellbeing is a critical element of the training and coaching we do with our clients – our aim is to help our clients become high performing organisations where all employees are motivated, fulfilled, and enjoy their work
