Support levels
StackHPC provides a single level of support, available during UK business hours. Issues are categorised with corresponding response times as follows: Critical (3 hours) for malfunctions that render the product inoperative or compromise system integrity in a production environment; High (6 hours) for malfunctions affecting essential program functionality or substantially degrading performance; Medium (24 hours) for malfunctions impacting optional features or causing minor disruption; and Normal (48 hours) for minor issues, cosmetic defects, or configuration inquiries. Response times refer to the interval between initial contact and acknowledgment by StackHPC staff during standard business hours and guarantee communication, not immediate resolution.
This support assumes a client system configured according to our reference design, using core components and services, with fewer than 100 compute nodes. The agreement is annual, subject to fair usage and requires remote access. Pricing for support without annual upgrades is £42,000 per year.
We generally do not recommend a support agreement without upgrades. Upgrading ensures security and stability by patching vulnerabilities, adds new features and performance improvements, maintains compatibility with modern infrastructure, and reduces business continuity risks. StackHPC has over ten years of experience helping customers upgrade their OpenStack Kayobe-based infrastructure, ensuring smooth transitions and long-term operational resilience.
