Secure Nexus provides guided offboarding, including validation of data scope, restore testing where required, and confirmation of successful extraction. Access to management portals remains available for an agreed offboarding period to enable data retrieval and verification.
Once extraction is complete and confirmed, Secure Nexus securely decommissions the service in line with retention and deletion requirements, providing written confirmation. Secure Nexus supports verification of successful data extraction and, once confirmed, securely decommissions the service in line with agreed retention and deletion policies. Written confirmation of service termination and data handling is provided.
The contract price includes standard offboarding support, access to management portals during the agreed offboarding period, guidance on data extraction or restores, and secure service decommissioning. It also includes standard documentation and confirmation of completion.
Additional costs may apply for assisted migrations, large-scale or time-critical restores, extended access beyond the standard offboarding period, bespoke reporting, or onsite support. Secure Nexus’ service uses the REST-based APIs to support secure automation, integration, and reporting. API access is role-based, authenticated, and governed by Secure Nexus.
What users can do via the API:
Users can programmatically onboard users, devices, and workloads; configure backup policies, schedules, and retention; integrate with external systems; retrieve backup status, alerts, audit logs, and usage metrics; and automate routine administrative and reporting tasks. Subject to permissions, users can also trigger backup and restore operations.
What users can’t do via the API:
Users cannot disable or bypass immutable storage, encryption, or enforced retention policies. Platform-level security controls, compliance safeguards, and authentication mechanisms (including MFA) cannot be altered via the API, nor can role-based access controls be circumvented.

Policy Outcome 6: Employment and training: For those who face barriers to employment
- Understanding of employment and skills issues, and of the skills and employment shortages of high growth sectors relating to the contract
- Creation of employment opportunities particularly for those who face barriers to employment, such as prison leavers, care leavers and/or who are located in deprived areas, and for people in industries with known skills shortages or in high growth sectors
- Working conditions which promote an inclusive working environment and promote retention and progression
- Other measures to provide equality of opportunity for disabled people and those with health conditions into employment, including becoming a Disability Confident employer and inclusion of supported businesses in the contract supply chain
- Understanding of the issues affecting inequality in employment, skills and pay in the market, industry or sector relevant to the contract, and in the supplier’s own organisation and those of its key sub-contractors. Measures to tackle inequality in employment, skills and pay in the contract workforce
- Inclusive and accessible development practices, including guidance for line managers on recruiting, managing and developing people with a disability or health condition

- Understanding of the issues affecting the development of new skills by target cohort
- Advertising, promotional and outreach activities designed to raise awareness of the offer to reach the target cohort
- Understanding of issues relating to entering the contract workforce
- Creation of outreach activities to create a pipeline of employees for the future contract delivery

- Understanding of issues relating to health and wellbeing, including physical and mental health, in the contract workforce
- Inclusive and accessible recruitment practices, development practices and retention policies that support-focused activities including those provided in the Guide for line managers on recruiting, managing and developing which support people with a disability or health condition
