Fighting climate change

LefkeIT's foundation is grounded in our core values, which serve as the compass for all our endeavors, decisions, and investments. We are committed to conducting our business with social responsibility, prioritizing environmental protection, and actively contributing to the well-being of communities. Our latest endeavor, the LeMones Bottle, is a testament to this commitment. This reusable stainless steel water bottle aims to combat the single-use plastic epidemic, aligning with the vision outlined in the Press release by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs on November 20, 2021, highlighting The Rt Hon George Eustice MP's plans to phase out single-use plastics.

Moreover, LefkeIT's investment in LeMones bottles is geared towards significantly reducing the carbon footprint associated with plastic bottles, thus playing a pivotal role in our fight against climate change. In line with our environmental objectives, we actively promote alternative modes of transportation among our team members. Encouraging walking or biking for shorter distances helps minimize greenhouse gas emissions, while for longer journeys, we advocate for the use of public transportation such as trains or buses, and carpooling whenever feasible. Through these initiatives, LefkeIT remains steadfast in our dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Covid-19 recovery

LefkeIT brings the same level of passion and dedication to our communities and society as we do to our clients and daily work. We are actively providing insights and guidance to small businesses navigating the operational challenges caused by COVID-19. Our teams have coordinated the donation and distribution of hundreds of thousands of pieces of personal protective equipment and medical supplies. LefkeIT has also contributed by delivering thousands of meals to those in need and supporting various food banks, as well as participating in charity fundraisers to aid the vulnerable and less fortunate in our society.

Recognizing that today's youth are crucial to our future economic stability, we are committed to empowering them by fostering their development through apprenticeship programs. As part of our strategic plan, LefkeIT is proud to announce the launch of a range of degree apprenticeship programs aimed at supporting our government's economic recovery efforts.

Tackling economic inequality

LefkeIT believes that today's young generation holds the key to our economic stability in the future. Therefore, it is crucial to equip them with modern skills and knowledge through apprenticeship programs. LefkeIT is dedicated to addressing economic inequality at its core. We are pleased to announce our strategic plan to introduce a range of degree apprenticeship programs aimed at reducing income and opportunity disparities among various demographic groups in our society. This initiative also aims to support the government's efforts towards economic recovery.

Equal opportunity

LefkeIT boasts a workforce where approximately 48% represent Black, Asian, and other Minority groups, while women constitute about 40% of our employees. Upholding our commitment to equal opportunities, we recognize and embrace the advantages of a diverse staff.

Diverse viewpoints serve as our foremost asset. With distinct backgrounds, experiences, skills, lifestyles, and beliefs, our team approaches challenges from varied perspectives. This diversity fosters a comprehensive outlook, enhancing overall performance. Moreover, diversity fuels innovation.

We prioritize inclusivity, ensuring every individual, irrespective of identity or role, feels equally valued and supported. Annual diversity training initiatives have significantly reduced turnover costs by mitigating internal conflicts, thus amplifying productivity and revenue generation. Our inclusive culture has facilitated access to diverse customer segments.

At LefkeIT, diversity permeates every aspect, from policy formulation to hiring practices, performance evaluations, promotions, and benefits. We offer coveted internships and robust training programs, enabling swift advancement into key roles within the organization through Continuous Professional Development (CPD) support and certification opportunities.

Wellbeing

LefkeIT prioritizes the well-being and development of our consultants, recognizing them as our greatest assets. We provide extensive support for their professional growth through training and certification opportunities, fostering long-term commitment and satisfaction among our team. Weekly standup meetings gather consultants from different projects to share insights, address challenges, and promote knowledge exchange. A dedicated mental health champion offers guidance and conducts regular sessions, particularly beneficial during periods of lockdown and transition back to the workplace. Line managers maintain open communication channels, encouraging team members to express both work-related and personal concerns. Feedback mechanisms, including questionnaires and interviews, facilitate ongoing monitoring of mental well-being, with 360-degree evaluations conducted biannually and at project completion. Annual medical assessments further contribute to assessing and supporting the mental health of our staff.
